  1. F-values and probabilities from an analysis of variance to explore whether there is a difference in hindwing eyespot size among three types of cross: Wild type × Wild type, Wild type × Missing and Missing × Missing. Sex and Family (random factor nested within cross-type) were used as additional factors. Only main effects for factors were calculated.
