(parameter): the true parameter value in simulations; Est.: the estimate of parameter; SD: the standard deviation of the estimate from the true value that is listed in the parenthesis where applicable; E1, E2, and E3: three epistases; I (Model I) and II (Model II): model (1) (silkworm F2 model) and the normal chiasmate F2 model, respectively.
