  1. GWAS data for pulmonary embolism were derived from a European cohort study of 448,312 pulmonary embolism cases and 3952 controls. GWAS data for human blood metabolites were also derived from a European cohort study involving 529 metabolites in plasma or serum of 7824 adults. We used LD score regression software (https://github.com/bulik/ldsc) to complete genetic correlation analysis between pulmonary embolism and blood metabolites
