Test groups here correspond to 0 = non-tasters as defined by the homozygous carriage of the TAS2R38 haplotype AV; 1 = tasters as defined by the homozygous or heterozygous carriage of the TAS2R38 haplotype PA. Ranksum analysis for comparison of random points from these two distributions yields p =< 0.001.
