Cytogenetic map positions have been used to order loci on 2L where possible. Cytogenetic and genetic map positions are derived from [14, 44–46] and unpublished. Cytogenetic locations were further confirmed by comparison to the current scaffolds of the A. gambiae genome (GenBank accessions AAAB01000001–AAAB01008987). Where the precise location of a marker is not known, its cytogenetic location is shown as the range covered by the corresponding scaffold.
