Repeated sequences in sa MSTN-2 promoter alleles. (A) Schematic presentation of repeated sequence elements in saMSTN- 2 promoter alleles. Box1 (green square) corresponds to sequences present twice in allele 'c' and once in alleles 'a' and 'b'. Box2 (yellow square) and Box3 (pink square) correspond to sequences present once in both allele 'c' and allele 'a'. Deletions are indicated by horizontal lines. Identical sequences in all alleles are shown by empty squares. 'b' specific sequences (pale blue square), 'c' specific sequences (peach square), 'a' specific sequences (grey square). Position -1 corresponds to the first nucleotide preceding the translation start codon ATG. (B) Alignment of repeated sequence elements in saMSTN-2 promoter alleles.
