Results of fine-mapping the susceptibility QTL on LG14. Interval mapping using the genotypes from Cross 1 (BC) and Cross 2 (F2) has localized the QTL to approximately 13 cM (x-axis) on LG14. The solid line represents the results of interval mapping whereas the histogram represents the distribution of the estimated QTL peak from 10000 bootstrap replicates used to estimate the location of the QTL [22]; 95% of the bootstrap estimates fall within a region of 9 cM.
